Job Summary:
An Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admission process for MBA and B.Tech programs, generating admissions leads, counseling students, and achieving enrollment targets.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

- Counsel students and parents regarding MBA and B.Tech courses, eligibility, fees, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Handle leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Understand students academic background, interests, and career goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Explain course curriculum, specialization options, placements, scholarships, and other facilities.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, applications, and admissions in CRM/Excel.
- Coordinate with the admission, academic, and marketing teams.
- Conduct or assist with counseling sessions, seminars, webinars, and campus visits.




- Support students with application forms, document submission, entrance requirements, and fee-payment procedures.
- Meet monthly/quarterly admission and conversion targets.
- Build robust relationships with students, parents, and educational partners.
- Stay updated about competitors, courses, admission trends, and industry requirements.

Preferred Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling and convincing abilities.
- Good knowledge of MBA and B.Tech programs.
- Target-oriented and proactive approach.
- Basic knowledge of CRM, MS Excel, email, and WhatsApp communication.
- Ability to handle objections and follow up effectively.
- Prior experience in education sales/admissions/counseling is an advantage.
- Qualification:
Graduate/MBA preferred. Candidates with experience in education counseling, admissions, inside sales, or student recruitment can be considered.
