Job Description

We are hiring experienced Senior Database Developers and Lead Database Developers to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable SQL-based database solutions for enterprise applications and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL Server/Azure SQL Database, T-SQL development, ETL processes, database design, performance tuning, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server/Azure SQL Database solutions.
- Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, CTEs, temporary tables, and table-valued parameters.
- Design and manage database objects including tables, indexes, constraints, primary/foreign keys, and schemas.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion pipelines.
- Process and transform JSON/XML and other semi-structured data into relational database structures.
- Design relational data models and maintain master/reference data.
- Perform query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and security across development, testing,



and production environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent performance improvements.
- Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Support database deployments, version control, and CI/CD processes using Git/Azure DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews and establish database development best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on SQL/database development.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
- Expertise in T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and CTEs.
- Hands-on experience in database design, data modeling, indexes, constraints, and table types.
- Experience building ETL/data ingestion pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of JSON parsing and data transformation in SQL.
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Git/Azure DevOps for source control and deployments.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Batch processing and audit logging experience.
