Position Overview The Monitoring Tools Administrator manages and optimizes enterprise monitoring, observability, and AIOps platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. The role focuses on reliable event ingestion, intelligent alert correlation, incident automation, and operational reporting in partnership with cross-functional infrastructure, application, security, and ITSM teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer enterprise monitoring, observability, and AIOps platforms across hybrid environments.

- Configure and maintain Moogsoft event ingestion, integrations, correlation rules, Cookbooks, Recipes, TeamRooms, and access management.

- Integrate Moogsoft with observability and ITSM platforms, including LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, and ServiceNow.

- Build and maintain automated incident creation, routing, assignment, notification, and escalation workflows.

- Tune alert thresholds, event policies, and deduplication rules to suppress alert noise and improve signal fidelity.

- Monitor platform health, manage upgrades, deploy fix packs, and troubleshoot event-ingestion failures, REST APIs, and webhooks.





- Develop operational dashboards covering availability, alert trends, MTTR, and incident volumes.

- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, architecture records, and change-management documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- 3+ years administering enterprise monitoring, observability, or AIOps platforms.

- Hands-on administration experience with Moogsoft (or enterprise equivalents such as BigPanda, Splunk ITSI).

- Direct experience integrating monitoring pipelines with ServiceNow via REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON payloads.

- Solid background in event correlation, deduplication, and alert-noise reduction logic.

- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and basic scripting.
