Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the execution of Above ground piping projects. The ideal candidate should have executed piping works for large-scale Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, or Process Plant projects.. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and ensuring timely execution of piping activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute piping installation activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Review piping isometrics, P&IDs;, GADs, piping layouts, and vendor drawings before execution.
- Coordinate with client, subcontractor, GBL site & HO team for smooth project execution.
- Supervise fabrication, erection, fit-up, alignment, welding, testing, flushing, and reinstatement activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor subcontractor resource productivity and ensure optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor their performance.
- Ensure availability of FIM materials, consumables, tools, tackles, and equipment.
- Resolve site-related engineering and construction issues in coordination with client teams.
- Plan hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, pigging, chemical cleaning activities.
- Ensure all piping supports are installed as per approved drawings.
- Verify material traceability and proper identification throughout construction.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, weld visual inspection,



NDT, punch point closure, and documentation.
- Participate in client review meetings, inspections and internal quality audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and promote a zero-incident work culture.
- Maintain site documentation including DPRs, material reconciliation, work permits, and progress measurements.

Technical Skills

- Thorough knowledge of piping fabrication and erection practices.
- Ability to interpret:
- P&IDs;
- Piping Isometrics
- GADs
- Plot Plans
- Equipment Layouts
- Support Drawings
- Line Lists
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API, ASTM, MSS, and relevant IS standards.
- Experience in CS, SS, Alloy Steel, Duplex SS piping works.
- Familiarity with hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, passivation, pickling, and commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of welding procedures, WPS/PQR, welder qualification, and NDT requirements.
- Experience in material reconciliation and piping quantity measurement.
- Familiarity with construction management software and MS Office.
