We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Freight Broker to manage end-to-end freight brokerage operations for the US market. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US trucking, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.

Role & responsibilities

- Identify and develop new shipper/customer accounts through prospecting, cold calling, email, and other channels.
- Source, qualify, and negotiate rates with reliable motor carriers.
- Manage the complete load lifecycle from booking to delivery.
- Negotiate profitable buy and sell rates while maintaining solid customer relationships.
- Post and manage loads through DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
- Verify carrier authority, insurance, safety, equipment, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, shippers, and internal operations teams.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate pickup, transit, and delivery updates.
- Resolve service issues, delays, rate disputes, and operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate load information, customer records, carrier information, and documentation.
- Meet individual and team sales, margin, and load-volume targets.
- Develop long-term relationships with both shippers and carriers.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- 27+ years of experience in US Freight Brokerage / Trucking / Logistics preferred.
- Strong understanding of OTR, Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Box Truck, Sprinter Van, and other equipment types.




- Knowledge of US lanes, major freight markets, and trucking terminology.
- Experience with DAT, Truckstop, TMS, CRM, and other logistics platforms.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Preferred candidate profile

- Existing shipper/customer relationships or book of business will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to generate new business and increase gross margin.
- Experience handling multiple loads simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of carrier compliance and fraud-prevention practices.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated professional.
