The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, information architecture, security, governance, and enterprise collaboration.

The architect will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly collaboration solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and define the enterprise SharePoint Online architecture, including site architecture, hub sites, information architecture, content types, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and navigation.

- Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure appropriate controls around data access, sharing, retention, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Design integration solutions between SharePoint and other enterprise applications using Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure services.
- Establish standards and reusable patterns for SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, and business applications.
- Provide technical leadership for SharePoint development, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate new Microsoft 365 capabilities and recommend adoption strategies based on business value, security, and operational requirements.
- Support Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, ensuring SharePoint content, permissions, metadata, and information architecture are appropriately structured for secure AI adoption.
- Create solution architecture documents, technical specifications, diagrams, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to SharePoint/M365 engineers and development teams.
- Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the SharePoint/M365 environment.
