Position: CNC Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Location: Bela Rail Wheel Plant, District Chhapra, Bihar

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance professional with hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machines, particularly those operating on Siemens CNC systems. The candidate should have strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and be capable of reading technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.

Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, hydraulic and control-system faults.

Work on Siemens CNC systems, particularly CNC/VTL-related machinery.

Diagnose machine faults and minimize machine downtime.

Perform maintenance of:

VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe)

Axle Turning Lathe

Under Floor Wheel Lathe

Surface Wheel Lathe

Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Identify root causes of recurring machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.

Follow all applicable safety and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills





Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with Siemens CNC systems.

Knowledge of CNC/VTL and wheel/axle machining equipment.

Good electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge.

Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to machine breakdowns.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Candidate Profile

Practical, technically sound and disciplined.

Good troubleshooting ability.

Willing to work in a manufacturing/industrial workplace.

Flexible for shift-based work and relocation.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Siemens CNC-controlled machines, especially VTL, Axle Turning Lathe, Under Floor Wheel Lathe and Surface Wheel Lathe, will be preferred.
