Job Title: Process Engineering Assistant / Deputy Manager
Department: Process Engineering – OIL2
Location: OIL-2, Rajpura
Experience: 8 – 10 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process planning and execution for manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Develop and implement PFC and PFMEA.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) activities.
- Drive commissioning of current equipment, machines, and production lines.
- Establish and monitor process controls, including SPC implementation.
- Prepare and manage RFQs with technical inputs for vendors.
- Conduct in-house and on-site inspections of equipment, jigs, fixtures, and assembly tooling.
- Troubleshoot technical issues internally and with vendors.
- Optimize processes to improve output and efficiency.
- Implement Poka-Yoke and Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Support SAP activities (material creation, BOM creation, etc.).
- Assist in shop floor layout design using 2D AutoCAD/Draftsight/DWG.
Qualifications & Experience
- BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- B.E in Mechatronics
- 8–10 years of experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in hydraulic cylinder or mechanical manufacturing and assembly industries.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and modern automation systems.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, PFC, PFMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke.
- Knowledge of IMS (Quality, OHAS, Environment).
- Working knowledge of SAP.
