SUMMARY
Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong Oracle Database expertise who can design, develop, and optimize high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Java 8, Oracle SQL, performance tuning, Explain Plan analysis, and complex joins in high-volume transactional environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8.

- Write optimized Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages .

- Perform database performance tuning using Explain Plan, AWR reports, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.

- Analyze and optimize complex joins and large datasets for improved performance.

- Troubleshoot production performance issues and provide root cause analysis.

- Work closely with DBAs, architects, and business teams for requirement analysis and solution design.

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.

- Support deployment,



release management, and post-production monitoring.

Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in Java 8 (Collections, Streams, Lambda expressions, Multi threading).

- Expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c preferred) .

- Strong knowledge of:

- Query optimization techniques

- Execution Plan analysis (Explain Plan)

- Indexing strategies

- Partitioning

- Performance tuning

- Experience in writing and optimizing complex joins and sub queries .

- Good understanding of JDBC, REST APIs, and Spring framework (preferred).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

- Experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain

- Exposure to Microservices architecture

- Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands

- Experience with CI/CD tools

Education

- B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification
