- 1. Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, long-term business strategy, capital allocation, and budgeting.
- - 2. Plant & Cost Accounting
- Standardize product costing methodologies (Standard Costing vs. Actual Costing) to accurately track Direct Labor, Direct Materials, and Factory Overhead allocations.
- - 3. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
- Lead cash flow management strategies to optimize the cash conversion cycle (CCC)—balancing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Inventory Turnover.
- - 4. Compliance, Tax & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with regional corporate taxes, direct/indirect tax laws (e.g., GST, VAT, Sales Tax), import/export duties, and customs regulations.
- Oversee month-end/year-end closures,



audit management, and statutory financial reporting.
- Establish robust internal financial controls to safeguard physical assets, inventory, and intellectual property.
- - 5. Systems & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance, accounting, and purchase-reconciliation team.
- - Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 3–5 years as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing or production workplace.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
