About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead with a strong finance and costing background to drive costing analysis, MIS automation, and workflow efficiency across departments. This role is based at our client location in Chettipedu, so the candidate should be comfortable traveling to/working from the client site on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in the textile manufacturing industry and the ability to independently own costing and reporting processes, with scope to lead related initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze unit-wise, department-wise, and floor-wise costing reports
- Develop and maintain overall product/process costing structures
- Design, automate, and streamline MIS reports and workflows to reduce manual effort
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI for management review
- Work extensively with Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,



Power Query, etc.) for data analysis and reporting
- Liaise with production, finance, and operations teams to gather and validate costing data
- Identify cost variances and provide actionable insights to management
- Support month-end/year-end costing and MIS closing activities
- Continuously improve reporting formats and automate recurring manual processes
- Guide/mentor junior team members on costing and MIS practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B. Com with MBA in Finance
- 4 - 7 years of relevant experience, with mandatory hands-on experience in the textile manufacturing industry
- Robust proficiency in Power BI and Advanced Excel is a must
- Solid understanding of costing concepts unit costing, department costing, floor-wise costing, and overall product costing
- Experience in MIS automation and workflow optimization
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ownership
- Good communication skills to coordinate across departments
- Willingness to travel and work from client location (Chettipedu) on a regular basis

Preferred

- Prior exposure to textile manufacturing cost structures (yarn, fabric, floor-level production costing, etc.)
- Experience automating manual reporting processes using Power BI/Excel tools
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team.
