International & Domestic FIT Sales | Pune | Full time

Foliage Outdoors is looking for passionate travel professionals who can turn a travel idea into a well-planned, memorable journey.

We are looking for dynamic and experienced Travel Counsellors to join our team and handle Domestic and International FIT Sales & Operations.

If you enjoy understanding what a traveller really wants, researching destinations, creating personalised itineraries, selecting the right hotels and experiences, negotiating with suppliers and finally seeing the booking come together, this role could be for you.

This is a 100% work-from-office position. Candidates must be comfortable working from our Pune office every day.

What You Will Do

As a Travel Counsellor, you will work directly with travellers to understand their requirements and create holidays that match their interests, time, budget and travel style.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Interacting with customers to understand their Domestic and International holiday requirements.
- Consulting with clients and converting their ideas into practical travel plans.
- Designing customised FIT itineraries based on destination, duration, budget and traveller preferences.
- Recommending suitable destinations, hotels, experiences, sightseeing, transportation and routing.
- Preparing detailed itineraries and accurate holiday costing.
- Handling enquiries from the initial conversation through proposal, follow-up and booking confirmation.
- Booking hotels, transfers, activities, sightseeing and other travel services.
- Coordinating with hotels, DMCs, suppliers and other travel partners.
- Negotiating with suppliers as needed to achieve the right combination of price, quality, and experience.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the booking process.




- Handling requirements of leisure as well as corporate travellers.
- Coordinating with the Operations team to ensure a smooth transition from booking to travel.
- Handling enquiries and requirements for inbound travellers visiting India.
- Maintaining accurate enquiry, booking and customer information in the CRM.
- Following up on enquiries and working towards achieving sales and conversion targets.

Who We Are Looking For

We would love to meet candidates who have:

- 2+ years of experience in a Travel Agency, Tour Operator, DMC or Travel Company.
- Experience in Domestic and/or International FIT sales.
- Good knowledge of destinations, hotels, travel services and suppliers.
- Experience in creating customised travel itineraries.
- Understanding of costing, routing, hotel selection and travel logistics.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to confidently communicate with both clients and suppliers.
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
- A commercial understanding of travel sales and conversion.
- Good computer, internet, email and CRM skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and Marathi.

An added advantage

- Having personally travelled to destinations you sell.
- Experience in International FIT travel.
- Experience with inbound travel.
- Experience handling premium or high-value travellers.
- Existing knowledge of international hotels, DMCs and suppliers.
- Experience handling corporate travel requirements.

Actual travel experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.

we are looking for someone who can independently handle the complete sales cycle.

You should be comfortable with:

- Handling high-value and complex travel enquiries.
- Designing sophisticated international and domestic itineraries.
- Independently costing and presenting proposals.
- Negotiating with suppliers.
- Managing multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Building long-term relationships with clients.
- Taking ownership of your sales pipeline and targets.
- Guiding junior team members when required.
