Description of Role and Responsibilities Position: Officer / Sr. Officer

Function: Finance and Accounting Sub-Function:

Credit Collections Reporting to: Supervisor / AM Number of Direct

Collections team is responsible for ensuring timely collection of dues

from customers through frequent follow ups by calls/mails and

highlighting the issues in the collection process, if any, to agency stakeholders and maximize efforts to increase the cash flow of the organization.

Collections team is also responsible to get the remittances/disputes from the customers to ensure the unknown receipts are identified and applied to the correct invocies at the earliest , disputes resolved in a timely manner thereby ensuring accuracy of the statement sent to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Fresher's are Welcome only if they have completed the graduation and if they have got their All semester consolidated marksheet and provisional certificate from their college.

- Retrieve Aging report of o/s on a daily basis
- Prepare customer SOA and sent to customer
- Follow up on payment. Subsequent follow up done via e-mail / Calls. Sending of Invoices.




- Handle enquires by customers / local agency due to disputed - rate different / wrong billing / double billing / wrong billing party and escalate it to the respective dept to resolve it.
- Follow up with relevant parties for dispute resolution
- Prepare Meeting Report & and send to Supervisors/AM for review.
- Reconciliation of Account
- Escalate customer accounts with issues to Supervisor/ AM in a timely manner for quick resolution
- Monthly/Weekly report preparation for collections related activities
- Qualification Graduate -BCom/Accounting qualifications/BSc.
- Familiarity with accounting principles. Experience Executive 0-2 years related working experience in
- Collections Process(B2B) in a BPO/back office/shared service center. Shipping domain experience would be added advantage.
- Sr. Executive 1-5 years related working experience in Collections Process(B2B) in a BPO/back office/shared service center. Shipping domain experience would be added advantage. Certifications
