The Product Executive/Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, managing promotional campaigns, supporting the sales team with effective marketing inputs and driving brand growth across assigned therapy areas. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained market performance.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management
- Develop and implement brand strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives.
- Prepare quarterly brand plans and promotional campaigns.
- Design and update visual aids, leave-behind literature (LBLs), product inputs, and other promotional materials.
- Monitor brand performance and recommend corrective actions.
Marketing & Promotional Activities
- Coordinate with the creative team for promotional material development.
- Plan and manage promotional budgets within approved limits.
- Ensure timely availability and distribution of promotional materials and product samples.
- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends.
Sales Force Support
- Train and brief the field force on product positioning, detailing, and promotional strategies.
- Conduct product training sessions and cycle meeting presentations.
- Prepare product manuals, detailing guides, FAQs, and scientific communication.
Field Work
- Spend 5-7 days per month in the field with Territory Managers to understand doctors feedback and implementation of activities
Compliance
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- B.Pharm / B.Sc (Life Sciences)
- MBA in Marketing (preferred)
Experience
- Product Executive: 1–3 years of pharmaceutical product management or marketing experience.
- Product Manager: 3–6 years of pharmaceutical product management experience with successful brand management exposure.
