Salary Range

Site Engineer ( Bio Med) - 14000 - 32500

Engineer ( Bio Med) - 25000 - 45000

Senior Engineer ( Bio Med) - 30000 - 50000

Job Summary

The Biomedical Engineer / Senior Biomedical Engineer / Project Engineer is

responsible for planning, installation, maintenance, and management of biomedical

equipment and healthcare technology systems. The role ensures that all medical

equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

The position also involves coordination with healthcare professionals, vendors, and

internal teams to ensure seamless operation and support of medical devices and

systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Site Engineer - Diploma Holders – 3Yrs to 10 Years of relevant experience

in biomedical equipment maintenance or hospital engineering.

• Engineer - B.E/B.Tech Graduates with minimum 1 Years’ Experience

• Senior Engineer - B.E/B.Tech Graduates with 3 Years’ Experience

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan, install, test, and commission biomedical equipment and systems.

2.



Ensure all medical equipment is functioning as per specifications and safety

standards.

3. Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of biomedical devices.

4. Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults and technical issues.

5. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and hospital departments.

6. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance logs, and

service reports.

7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital safety protocols.

8. Assist in procurement by reviewing technical specifications and vendor

proposals.

9. Conduct equipment performance evaluations and recommend upgrades or

replacements.

10. Train healthcare staff on proper usage and handling of medical equipment.

11. Monitor equipment downtime and implement measures to improve

efficiency.

12. Support accreditation and audit processes related to biomedical equipment.
