Electrica Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive Engineer for the Design Department. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of Automotive Lighting systems using CATIA V5, with a strong focus on 3D Modeling and Engineering Change Management. The Junior Executive Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the integration of high-quality plastic components, specifically in the automotive industry, and contribute to continuous improvement across the design and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D & 2D CAD Development: Develop 2D and 3D models of new products and parts using CATIA V5, in compliance with customer specifications.
- Product Design: Collaborate on the conceptual design and proposal of new automotive lighting products.
- Engineering Change Management: Prepare and implement engineering changes as per the approved change notes.
- Quality Interaction: Liaise with the quality and testing departments for part inspections and approvals.
- BOM Preparation: Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and material Specifications for new products.
- Project Coordination: Assist in preliminary project planning, coordination, and tracking of design activities.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers for drawing approvals and technical discussions.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: B.E in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in CATIA V5 (Plastic Domain preferred).
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in the Design of Plastic Automotive Lighting Systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CATIA V5, plastic Injection Molding, 3D modeling, DFMEA, BOM preparation, and engineering change management.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in CATIA V5 is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in APQP Homologation tests on lighting parts.
- Familiarity with GD&T; and Plastic Tooling and assembly.
