Senior SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) Consultant

Experience: 10+ years in SAP FI/CO, with at least 3-5 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations in KSA

# About the Role
We are hiring a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation spanning multiple legal entities across cement, agri-products, manufacturing and trading lines of business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The consultant will lead the design and configuration of the Finance and Controlling workstream, ensuring compliance with Saudi statutory and tax requirements and a real-time, group-level financial close.

#Key Responsibilities
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank & Cash Management in S/4HANA.
- Configure Controlling: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Period-End Closing and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis).
- Design and implement Saudi VAT, Withholding Tax, and ZATCA (Fatoora) Phase-2 e-invoicing via SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
- Support real-time financial close and group reporting under IFRS, including intercompany and multi-entity consolidation.
- Define product costing and margin analysis processes to replace manual reconciliations.
- Partner with the data migration team to define finance master and transactional data objects (GL, vendor, customer, asset master, open items, balances).
- Use AI-enabled tools and accelerators (e.g., SAP Business AI, Joule, LeanIX, Signavio,



GenAI-based test/data-migration accelerators, or equivalent) to speed up fit-gap analysis, data cleansing/mapping, test script generation, and cutover validation.
- Work within a Clean Core delivery approach, favoring standard/BTP-based extensions over core modifications.
- Support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT, and produce functional specifications for WRICEF items in scope.
- Mentor junior consultants and coordinate closely with cross-module teams (MM, SD, PP, PS).

# Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, including at least one end-to-end S/4HANA (public or private cloud/on-premise) implementation.
- Prior project experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC, with hands-on exposure to ZATCA e-invoicing, Saudi VAT and Withholding Tax.
- Solid knowledge of SAP Activate methodology (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
- Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) or equivalent localization tools.
- Practical experience applying AI/GenAI tools to accelerate S/4HANA migration activities e.g., automated data mapping/cleansing, AI-assisted test case generation, intelligent cutover/reconciliation checks, or use of SAP Business AI/Joule.
- Working knowledge of integration with manufacturing, trading and third-party systems (e.g., POS/van-sales, payroll interfaces) from a Finance posting perspective.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification .
