Role & responsibilities

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with project HSE policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Monitor construction, erection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities from a safety perspective.
- Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment, and Method Statement reviews for critical activities.
- Ensure implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
- Monitor safety during work at height, scaffolding, lifting & rigging, excavation, hot work, confined space, electrical work, and heavy equipment operations.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)



by employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, work platforms, lifelines, safety harnesses, and fall-protection systems before use.
- Ensure proper implementation of Work at Height safety requirements, including anchorage, lifelines, barricading, and fall-arrest systems.
- Monitor electrical safety, including isolation, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), temporary electrical installations, earthing, and protected working practices.
- Monitor lifting operations and ensure proper use of cranes, lifting tools, tackles, and accessories.
