We are looking for an experienced Tooling Maintenance qualified to join our Tooling team. The role will be responsible for ensuring effective tooling maintenance, attending tooling breakdowns and supporting smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tooling maintenance and ensure tooling availability for production.
- Attend and troubleshoot tooling breakdowns on priority.
- Identify tooling-related issues and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Process teams for tooling-related requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of tooling maintenance activities.
- Maintain tooling performance and minimize tooling-related downtime.
- Follow 5S practices and maintain workplace standards.
- Support continuous improvement in tooling maintenance and breakdown reduction.
Key Skills
- Hands-on experience in Tooling Maintenance
- Knowledge of Tool & Die
- Experience in tooling breakdown troubleshooting
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of tools
- Good understanding of manufacturing/tool-room practices
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Knowledge of 5S
- Ability to work closely with Production, Maintenance and Process teams
Qualification
- Diploma / Polytechnic in Tool & Die Making / Tool Engineering
- Candidates with relevant hands-on tooling maintenance experience will be preferred.
Experience
4 - 7 years of relevant experience in tooling maintenance / tool room / tool & die maintenance, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
