- Lead end-to-end contract management and administration for Highway, Railway, EPC and other infrastructure projects from pre-award to project closure.
- Review and interpret EPC, HAM, Item Rate, BOQ and Railway contracts, including NHAI, MoRTH, Indian Railways and client-specific contractual conditions.
- Monitor contractual obligations, identify risks, deviations, notice requirements and commercial opportunities, and ensure timely action by project teams.
- Lead preparation, substantiation and negotiation of claims, Extension of Time (EOT), variation orders, price escalation, compensation events and additional-cost claims.
- Review project delays and coordinate with planning teams for delay analysis, contemporaneous records and claim substantiation.
- Draft and review contractual notices, letters, replies, amendments, MoUs, subcontract agreements and commercial correspondence to safeguard the company's contractual rights.
- Coordinate with Project Heads, Planning, QS/Billing, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Business Development teams for effective contractual and commercial management.
- Handle client/authority/consultant negotiations on contractual issues, variations, claims,



deductions, recoveries, EOT and other commercial matters.
- Provide support in dispute resolution, conciliation, adjudication and arbitration, including preparation of case documentation and coordination with external legal counsel.
- Conduct pre-bid and tender-stage contract reviews, identify onerous conditions, contractual risks and commercial exposures, and provide recommendations for bid/no-bid and pricing strategy.
- Establish and monitor Contract Risk Register, Claims Register, Variation Register, EOT Register and Contractual Compliance Tracker across projects.
- Develop standardized contract management systems, SOPs, templates and best practices for Highway and Railway projects across the organization.
- Conduct periodic contractual audits and project reviews to identify revenue leakage, unclaimed entitlements, contractual non-compliances and potential disputes.
- Mentor and guide the Contracts, Commercial and Claims teams at project and corporate levels and build organizational capability in contract management.
