The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for administration and configuration of multiple platform modules, as well as development and maintenance of custom applications across the enterprise platform. The candidate will work with various internal stakeholders and external partners to collaboratively develop requirements for maintenance and growth activities. The candidate is expected to obtain and maintain relevant certifications, and to continuously expand knowledge and skills regarding platform administration.
The incumbent will need to balance demands, prioritize efforts, clearly set expectations, and communicate effectively; will work with other enterprise technologies to help configure and maintain integrations. The role will be expected to be current on the latest related thought leadership around leveraging the platform and participate in the development of new business cases related to expanding its impact at Elara Caring. A collaborative teamwork-driven individual with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a recognized authority for ServiceNow services, processes, and technologies to design and integrate leading-edge, business-critical solutions for mission critical, enterprise-wide solutions.
- Lead teams of other business, technical, and enterprise architect in designing and developing recent solutions.
- Support creating the overall roadmap, shapes demand for enterprise platform consumption and facilitates execution of efforts that will drive forward platform strategy in a timely manner.
- Transform baseline ServiceNow platform features by integrating federated data sources and building out component capabilities to support integrated decision making across business processes.
- Manage 3rd party vendors who provides develop and support capabilities.
- Develop standardizations for design, build, and support responsibilities.
- Prioritize backlog in accordance with IT enterprise strategy and priorities.
- Develop metrics to show effectiveness of delivery and support.
- Continue to prioritize and enhance the capabilities of all ServiceNow modules.
- Establishes and maintains professional, positive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Mentor and help develop platform administrators across the organization.
- Manage relationship and licensing compliance with ServiceNow.
- Strategic planning for migrating to new versions and implementation of new features in ServiceNow and maintaining a platform Roadmap.
- Experience in Integrations between ServiceNow and other tools/systems as well as an ability to lead design sessions to architect such integrations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer required (current version)
- One or more ServiceNow Micro-Certifications required
- Knowledge of architecture concepts, industry standards, and best practices
- Experience with ITIL methodology and practice with certification highly preferred
- Experience with systems integration methods (e.g. REST, SOAP) required
- Proven project management and time management skills
- Proven documentation and training skills
