Role & responsibilities

- Assist senior developers in developing, configuring, and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Customize responsive WordPress themes and web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and page builders such as Elementor and Divi.
- Install, configure, and test essential WordPress plugins for SEO, security, caching, forms, and website functionality.
- Identify and resolve basic styling, layout, compatibility, and responsive design issues across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Support website content management, image optimization, compression, and basic on-page SEO implementation.
- Perform routine website testing, debugging, quality checks, and basic performance audits under senior developer guidance.
- Assist with local WordPress development environments using tools such as XAMPP and LocalWP, including website setup and migration tasks.
- Learn and implement basic PHP and JavaScript customizations within WordPress child themes and existing website functionality.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and fundamental JavaScript.
- Understanding of the WordPress admin panel, post/page structures, and theme settings.
- Solid problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn web development standards.
