The selected candidate will provide technical leadership and architectural governance across complex IBM Sterling OMS implementations. The role involves working with senior client stakeholders and designing scalable, innovative, and cloud-native order management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical leadership and architectural governance across IBM Sterling OMS projects.
- Define end-to-end architecture for complex omnichannel initiatives.
- Lead solution design, customizations, performance optimization, and scalability initiatives.
- Evaluate modern architecture patterns including AI/ML and event-driven architectures.
- Mentor senior consultants and contribute to OMS practice development.
- Troubleshoot complex performance, concurrency, and scalability issues.
- Work closely with CTO/VP-level stakeholders and lead cross-functional technical discussions.
Required Technical Skills
- 12-20 years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS, including v10.0+ and OMOC.
- Strong knowledge of Sterling OMS architecture, extensibility framework, and database structures.
- Hands-on experience with Intelligent Promising, Inventory Visibility (IV), and Order Management on Cloud (OMOC).
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Kafka/MQ and enterprise integrations.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
- Experience with global inventory visibility, fulfilment, complex orchestration, and omnichannel retail.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale OMS solutions for global retailers.
Good to Have
- Experience with NoSQL and distributed databases.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in supply chain.
- Familiarity with WMS, logistics, and iPaaS.
- Strong understanding of modern supply chain and cross-border retail practices.

- Ability to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
