Jewellery Designer — Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design Sketching & Rendering

Prepare hand sketches or digital designs with accurate proportions, details, stone placements, and finishes via Coral or Procreate.

2. Concept Development

Develop creative concepts, themes, mood boards, and design languages for jewellery collections.

3. Technical Understanding

Understand jewellery manufacturing techniques such as casting, CAD/CAM, setting, soldering, and finishing.

Ensure designs are technically feasible and production-friendly.

4. Design Documentation

Prepare design sheets, specifications, references, presentations, and product details required for development and production.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with merchandisers, CAD designers, production teams, and sales teams.
