Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Junior Chemist to support chemical testing and quality control activities in the cement manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for sampling, testing, analysis, documentation, and ensuring that raw materials, intermediate products, and finished cement meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, clinker, cement, and process samples.
- Perform routine testing using laboratory instruments and standard chemical methods.
- Monitor and maintain chemical parameters such as SiO, AlO, FeO, CaO, MgO, SO, LOI, and other relevant parameters.
- Collect and prepare samples from different sections of the cement plant as per established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, laboratory reports, and quality parameters.




- Assist in monitoring raw mix, kiln feed, clinker, and cement quality.
- Coordinate with Production and Process departments regarding quality deviations and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper calibration, operation, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory chemicals, glassware, instruments, and testing materials.
- Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist in investigation of quality variations and support root-cause analysis.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and protected working practices within the laboratory.
- Support internal quality audits and maintain required documentation.
