Position: Laboratory Chemist & Supervisor

Location: Panipat, Haryana

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent

Role & Responsibilities:

Sample Management: Receive, accurately label, and log incoming wastewater samples in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Sample Preparation: Perform precise sample preparation techniques, including chemical dilution, acid digestion, and solvent extraction as required for specific analytical methods.

Traceability & Disposal: Ensure proper storage, rigorous chain-of-custody traceability, and safe disposal of tested samples in compliance with laboratory safety norms and environmental regulations.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex test results, validate data accuracy, and prepare comprehensive technical test reports as per laboratory policies.

EHS Compliance: Maintain absolute adherence to laboratory safety protocols, including mandatory PPE usage and the safe handling/storage of hazardous chemicals and biological materials.

Safety Training:



Actively participate in continuous safety training programs and periodic emergency response drills.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

B.Sc. in Chemistry: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in wastewater testing within a Refinery laboratory or Petrochemical. Minimum 50% aggregate score required.

M.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry: Minimum 2 years of experience in wastewater testing within a Refinery laboratory or Petrochemical, water testing laboratory or NABL-accredited facility. Minimum 50% aggregate score required.

Technical Skills: Proven proficiency and hands-on experience with analytical laboratory instrumentation (Tds, oil & grease, sludge, pH meters, BOD/COD/Tss/Toc analyzers).

Core Competencies: Strong understanding of NABL guidelines, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to laboratory safety protocols.
