We are looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Resident in Interventional Endovascular Radiology to join our Radiology Department. The candidate will assist in and perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under appropriate supervisionwhile providing quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist consultants in performing interventional and endovascular radiology procedures .
- Participate in procedures such as angiography angioplasty stenting embolization thrombectomy drainage proceduresand image-guided biopsies.
- Assist in pre-procedure evaluation patient preparationinformed consentand post-procedure monitoring.
- Interpret CTMRI ultrasound Dopplerand angiographic imaging as required.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and promptly identify potential complications.
- Maintain accurate patient recordsprocedure notesand clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants surgeons physicians anesthetists and other clinical departments.
- Participate in emergency procedures and on-call duties as required.
- Support departmental teachingcase discussions academic activitiesand clinical audits.
- Ensure timely and compassionate communication with patients and their relatives.
