Freelance opportunity - Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Quotation Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Quotation Consultant with robust hands-on experience in SAP Solution Quotation (SQ) implementation .

The ideal candidate should have deep practical experience configuring Solution Quotation scenarios and should also understand SAP BRIM, Subscription Order Management (SOM), and SAP CRM .

This is a part-time remote opportunity suited for an experienced consultant who can independently drive Solution Quotation requirements from design through build, testing, deployment, stabilization, and hypercare .

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Solution Quotation for individual products and bundled offerings.
- Configure subsequent document determination , including order types, item categories, and follow-on documents.
- Support quotation scenarios for:
- Shippable products and Free-of-Charge scenarios
- Software contracts
- Services and service contracts
- Bundled product/service offerings
- Configure and support bundle quoting , including:
- Component determination
- Bundle price roll-up
- Pricing conditions
- Bundle-specific promotions
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) .
- Work closely with technical teams and developers during development and integration.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production stabilization .
- Support third-party integrations, including field mapping, interface validation, and end-to-end testing.




- Prepare and execute test scripts and support business/UAT testing cycles.
- Provide hands-on support during implementation, deployment, stabilization, and hypercare .
- Collaborate with business, functional, technical, and integration teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA Solution Quotation (SQ) .
- Proven experience configuring and implementing Solution Quotation , not merely functional/high-level knowledge.
- Strong understanding of:
- Quotation management
- Pricing
- Product and bundle configuration
- Subsequent document flows
- Order types
- Item categories
- Document determination
- Follow-on documents
- Experience with complex bundled offerings and pricing scenarios .
- Good understanding of SAP BRIM / Subscription Order Management (SOM) .
- Working knowledge of SAP CRM and customer/order management processes.
- Experience with third-party integrations, field mapping, and interface testing .
- Strong requirements gathering and FSD preparation experience.
- Hands-on experience with testing, defect resolution, deployment, stabilization, and hypercare.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations .
- Ability to independently drive SQ requirements from design → build → testing → stabilization .
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
