Role Description This is a part time, remote role for a Medical Biller (Trainer) at GrowAI Edtech. The Medical Biller (Trainer) will design and deliver online training sessions on medical billing processes, including coding standards, insurance requirements, and reimbursement workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating learning materials, case studies, and practice exercises, facilitating live or recorded classes, and providing individual feedback to learners. The role also involves reviewing billing scenarios, explaining denial management strategies,



and mentoring learners on best practices for working with payers such as Medicare and private insurance. The trainer will collaborate with the curriculum team to keep course content current with regulatory and industry updates.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and its application in clinical documentation and billing.
- Hands-on experience with ICD-10 coding and related coding guidelines for accurate claim submission.
- Understanding of Insurance processes, including commercial payers and Medicare policies and requirements.
- Expertise in managing Denials, including root-cause analysis, appeals, and corrective actions.
- Previous experience as a medical biller, coder, or revenue cycle specialist in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or teaching adults in a virtual or classroom environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and patiently.
- Comfort with digital tools and learning platforms; ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant certification in medical billing and coding or healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
