Role Description: This is a remote internship role for a Textile Designer.

The Textile Designer intern will assist in developing fabric-based designs, including patterns, prints, and surface embellishments for collections. Day-to-day tasks include creating digital artwork, exploring color palettes, preparing repeat patterns, and adapting graphics for different textile applications. The intern will collaborate with design and product teams, incorporate feedback into revisions, and help prepare production-ready files and technical documentation. The role also involves researching textile trends, innovative techniques, and strong knowledge of handloom.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in textile-focused design, including Textiles and handloom




- Ability to create detailed designs
- Proficiency in visual concept development, including Graphics and Graphic Design.
- Comfort using digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent) for pattern and print creation.
- Attention to detail, color sensitivity, and ability to translate concepts into transparent, repeatable patterns.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Textile Design/ B. Des.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Open to travel
- Portfolio demonstrating textile-related projects, prints, or graphic work relevant to apparel is highly beneficial
