We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Functional Expert with robust domain expertise in Guidewire Policy Administration implementations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Policy Center, a solid understanding of Claim Center, and hands-on experience with Product Modeling and Advanced Product Designer (APD). The candidate will play a key role in business analysis, functional solutioning, requirement gathering, estimation, and stakeholder management for Guidewire transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for Guidewire Policy Center implementation and enhancement projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to design optimal Policy Center solutions.
- Drive functional solutioning, effort estimation, and impact analysis for Guidewire initiatives.
- Configure and support Guidewire Policy Center product setup using Product Modeling and APD.
- Participate in workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and gap analysis discussions.
- Review business processes and recommend best practices aligned with Guidewire capabilities.
- Support testing activities including UAT, defect triage, and business validation.
- Provide functional guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire implementation standards and insurance industry best practices.
Required Skills Mandatory Skills
- 7 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Insurance Domain.
- Strong experience as a Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst / Functional Consultant.
- Guidewire ACE Certification (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Guidewire Policy Center
- Product Modeling
- Advanced Product Designer (APD)
- Expertise in requirement gathering, functional design, and solutioning.
- Strong understanding of estimation methodologies and project delivery processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Guidewire Claim Center.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of P&C; (Property & Casualty) Insurance business processes.
- Prior experience in large-scale Guidewire implementation programs.
