Freelance Video Editor

We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to work with our team on content for our brands Unstumbled and Unsobered .

The role will involve editing content across Instagram and You Tube , primarily focused on food, travel, alcohol, lifestyle and infotainment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels and You Tube Shorts.
- Edit long-form content for You Tube.
- Create engaging edits with robust pacing, storytelling and visual appeal.
- Add transitions, text, graphics, sound effects and music as required.
- Adapt content to different social media formats and platforms.
- Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand the brief and deliver edits within timelines.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in video editing,



preferably for digital/social media content.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing and composition.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Instagram and You Tube formats.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant work.
