Role Description The Software Engineer in the IT Department at Happy Forgings Limited, working in collaboration with Parul University, will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support institutional and business operations. This full-time, on-site role, based in Vadodara, involves writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting technical issues, and participating in code reviews to ensure system reliability and performance. The Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and integrate new features into existing systems.



The role also includes documenting technical processes, ensuring data security and compliance with IT policies, and providing user support for deployed applications and tools.
Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar, with experience in object-oriented design and development.
- Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML/CSS, Java Script, React, Angular, or .NET) for building and maintaining software solutions.
- Experience with databases and data management, including SQL, relational database design, and basic query optimization.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and testing practices for reliable code delivery.
- Ability to analyze requirements, solve technical problems, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications or internships are an advantage.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, security best practices, and documentation standards is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vadodara and adapt to a dynamic, learning-focused environment.
