Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Medical Representative (MR) with 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be responsible for promoting company products, developing strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals, generating prescriptions, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and chemists in the assigned territory.
- Promote and provide accurate information about the company’s pharmaceutical products to doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Generate prescriptions and contribute towards achieving monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong qualified relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and distributors.
- Ensure regular coverage of the assigned territory and maintain an effective daily call plan.
- Follow up with doctors and chemists to ensure consistent product availability and prescription generation.
- Monitor competitor products, market activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Collect and report market feedback and relevant competitor information to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with distributors and stockists to maintain adequate product availability in the territory.




- Submit daily work reports, doctor call reports, and other required reports through the company’s prescribed system/software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical marketing practices, and reporting procedures.
- Achieve assigned sales, coverage, and productivity targets within the given timelines.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: 1–3 years as a Medical Representative in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Sc./B.Pharm/B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Good knowledge of the assigned territory and local market will be an advantage.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/required as per company policy.
