About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor, Graphic Designer & Social Media Executive to support our communications and digital media activities.

This role is suitable for someone who has a robust interest in video editing, graphic design and social media and wants to build professional experience while working on real projects, campaigns, events and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Make and Edit short-form videos, Reels, event videos, interviews and other digital content.
- Create and Assist in creating Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn content.
- Design social media posts, carousels, posters, banners, certificates and other creatives.
- Create thumbnails and basic promotional graphics.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, music and basic effects to videos.
- Assist with photography and videography during events and programme activities.
- Help maintain the organisation's social media content calendar.
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
- Research current social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas.
- Resize and adapt creatives for different platforms and formats.
- Maintain organised folders of photographs, videos, graphics and project files.
- Assist the senior communications/design team in preparing presentations, reports and digital materials.
- Support documentation of workshops, school activities, conferences and field programmes.
- Coordinate with programme teams to collect photographs, videos and information required for content creation.
- Ensure that all content follows the organisation's visual identity and communication guidelines.
- Complete assigned creative tasks within timelines.

Required Technical Skills

Video Editing

- Adobe Premiere Pro




- Basic After Effects knowledge is an advantage
- Reel and short-form video editing
- Basic colour correction
- Audio editing
- Subtitles and captions
- Transitions and basic motion graphics
- Video formatting for Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn

Graphic Design

- Canva – required
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator – preferred
- Basic understanding of typography, layouts and visual hierarchy
- Social media post and carousel design
- Basic infographic design
- Presentation design

Social Media

- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Content scheduling
- Hashtag and caption research
- Understanding of current social media trends
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics

Additional Skills

- Good visual sense and creativity
- Interest in photography and videography
- Good command of English
- Good writing and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of AI tools such as Canva AI, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, etc. is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic photography, lighting and framing will be an advantage.
- Experience in creating content for educational, social-sector, research or development organisations will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Mass Communication, Animation, Digital Media, Film/Video Production, Fine Arts, Marketing or a related field.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio and demonstrable skills are welcome to apply.
- Portfolio is preferred/mandatory, particularly for candidates with prior freelance, internship or project experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
