Job Description: Senior Finance Manager / Deputy Finance Controller

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to support the Finance Controller and Group CFO in managing financial operations across a diversified group comprising Real Estate, Insurance Broking, Fintech, and new emerging businesses.

The role will play a critical part in strengthening financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance across sectors, and supporting business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation

- Manage standalone and consolidated financial statements across group entities

- Oversee monthly and quarterly closing for multiple business verticals

- Ensure accurate revenue recognition (especially in real estate projects)

- MIS reporting with segment-wise profitability (Real Estate, Broking, Fintech, Minerals)

2. Sector-Specific Finance Oversight

- Real Estate:

o Project accounting, RERA compliance, WIP tracking, cost allocation

- Insurance Broking:

o Commission reconciliation, IRDAI compliance support

- Fintech:

o Revenue models, transaction-based accounting, regulatory tracking

- Mineral Business:

o Costing, inventory control, and statutory compliance

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Planning

- Develop consolidated budgets and business-wise forecasts

- Evaluate project viability, IRR, and ROI for new investments

- Support strategic expansion and fund-raising initiatives

4. Compliance & Regulatory Management

- Ensure compliance with:

o GST, Income Tax, TDS

o Companies Act

o RERA (for real estate projects)

o IRDAI (for broking business)

- Handle notices, assessments, and litigation support

5. Cash Flow & Fund Management

- Monitor project-wise and group-level cash flows

- Optimize working capital across verticals





- Coordinate with banks/NBFCs for funding and limits

6. Internal Controls & Governance

- Strengthen internal financial controls across group entities

- Implement SOPs for new and expanding businesses

- Ensure audit readiness at all times

7. Audit & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors

- Assist in due diligence for investors/lenders

- Work closely with promoters and senior leadership

8. Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor finance teams across entities

- Build scalable finance processes for growing businesses

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of multi-industry accounting and compliance

- Expertise in real estate finance + financial services ecosystem

- Consolidation and MIS across multiple entities

- Advanced financial modelling and project evaluation

- Solid control mindset and governance focus

Qualification & Experience

- CA (preferred) / MBA Finance / CMA

- 7–12 years of experience in:

o Real estate / infrastructure

o Or diversified group / conglomerate

- Experience in handling multi-entity structure and audits

Reporting Structure

- Reports to: Group CFO / Finance Controller

- Team: Accounts, MIS, and Compliance teams across entities

Key Deliverables (KPIs)

- Timely and accurate consolidation

- Strong compliance across all sectors

- Effective cash flow and fund utilization

- Project-level profitability tracking

- Zero major audit qualifications

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
