Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Marine Faculty to join our academic team at Kuzhalmannam. The candidate will be responsible for delivering effective classroom and practical training in marine-related subjects and helping students develop strong technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions for marine-related courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, notes, assignments, and training materials.
- Explain technical concepts clearly using practical examples and demonstrations.
- Conduct practical sessions, activities, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, practicals, and examinations.
- Maintain attendance and academic records.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
- Ensure discipline and safety during practical training sessions.
- Support students in developing technical and employability skills.
- Complete the assigned syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, examinations, and other academic activities.
- Coordinate with the academic team for effective course delivery.

Qualification





- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Marine Engineering or a relevant Marine-related discipline – Mandatory.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant maritime certifications will be preferred.

Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant teaching, training, or marine industry experience preferred.
- Candidates with robust technical knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered.

- Strong knowledge of marine and technical subjects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good practical and technical knowledge.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and effective manner.
- Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities.
- Willingness to conduct both theory and practical sessions.

We are looking for a technically strong, responsible, and student-focused faculty member who can combine academic knowledge with practical marine industry exposure.

Pay: ₹750.00 - ₹900.00 per day
