Job Description – HR Head (Legal & Compliance)

Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat

Experience: 7-8 years

Qualification: MBA (HR) / PGDM (HR) / MSW

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Head to lead the Human Resources function with a strong focus on legal compliance, industrial relations, and strategic HR management. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, HR operations, payroll oversight, and employee relations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations and HR strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including PF, ESIC, PT, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act (CLRA), POSH, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and other applicable labour laws**.
- Handle statutory audits, labour inspections, compliance documentation, and liaison with government authorities.
- Drive industrial relations, employee engagement, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll coordination, HR policies,



and HRMIS.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare HR MIS reports and provide strategic HR support to senior management.

Skills & Requirements :

- Solid expertise in HR leadership, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in industrial relations and compliance management.
- Sound knowledge of payroll processes, HRMS, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete HR function.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 7-8 years of HR experience, including leadership roles in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Experience managing both blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
- Exposure to statutory audits, labour authorities, and compliance-driven environments.

Salary: Best in Industry (Based on experience and interview performance)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
