Position Title:Senior Production Manager

Experience Required:8 – 12 Years

Compensation:Up to ₹80,000 / month (Gross)

Job Location: Jalan Industrial Complex, Howrah, West Bengal

1. Position Overview

The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end shop-floor manufacturing operations for Table, Pedestal, Wall (TPW), and Farrata fans at Shree Bhagwati Electromech Pvt. Ltd. This role oversees in-house manufacturing processes—including stator stamping, copper/aluminum motor winding, high-precision shaft turning, guard fabrication, and sub/final assembly lines—while coordinating material flow with external plastic injection molding vendors to achieve seamless operational throughput.

2. Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Direct and manage plant-wide daily production schedules for TPW and Farrata fan assembly lines to consistently meet sales and OEM targets.
- Drive efficiency across all in-house production departments: copper/aluminum winding, shaft machining, metal guard fabrication, and motor assembly.
- Coordinate closely with the Purchase and Procurement team to ensure steady vendor supply of out-sourced plastic injection molded parts (blades, bodies, switch panels) preventing line stoppages.




- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing) to reduce scrap rate, operational downtime, and rework costs.
- Track, analyze, and improve key manufacturing KPIs: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Line Efficiency, Output Yield, and Direct Labor Productivity.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and operational guidance to shift Production Supervisors and floor staff.
- Enforce strict safety compliance, occupational health standards, and discipline on the shop floor.

3. Qualifications & Technical Requirements

- B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of core manufacturing experience in electric fans, small home appliances, or fractional horsepower (FHP) motor manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in line balancing, motor assembly processes, metal sheet stamping, and precision machining operations.
- Robust leadership capability with experience managing large multi-shift workforce teams.
- Hands-on familiarity with ERP system production modules and shop-floor tracking tools.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
