The role of the dental assistant here will be mainly to assist the dentist. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining patient and lab records. Hygiene is very significant in our clinic, hence the assistant will take prime responsibility to clean instruments and ensure sterility of all the products used. The assistant will also be involved in dusting and disinfection of the operatory. The assistant will also be involved in surgeries, which includes preparing instruments before surgery and assisting during surgery.
