Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Day Care Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during day care hours. The candidate will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting their emotional and social development, and maintaining effective communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children throughout day care hours.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
- Engage children through storytelling, drawing, colouring, craft, music, games, and creative activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, snacks, hygiene, and rest time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and child-friendly environment.
- Monitor children's behaviour and provide positive guidance when required.
- Maintain attendance and daily activity records.
- Observe children's development and communicate any concerns to the Day Care Coordinator.
- Ensure children are handed over only to authorized parents/guardians as per school procedures.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's daily activities, behaviour, and well-being.
- Coordinate with teachers and school staff to ensure smooth day care operations.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and child-related activities.




- Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and child protection guidelines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the School Leadership Team.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- NTT / Montessori / ECCE / D.Ed. / B.Ed. or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience working with children in a day care, preschool, kindergarten, or school environment.
- Candidates with experience handling young children independently will be preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday as per school schedule
Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Pay: ₹28,000.00 per month
