Job Description – Civil Engineer (Commercial Building Projects) – 5+ Years Experience

Position: Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at commercial building project sites.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs for project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify contractor bills and material consumption records.
- Plan and monitor manpower, machinery, and material requirements.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.




- Maintain project documentation, measurements, and records.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to management.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of commercial building construction and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, billing, and BOQ preparation.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Experience

- 5+ years of experience in commercial building projects such as office buildings.
