We are hiring a Business Consultant to drive the Camunda 8 target architecture and manage migration delivery for in-scope processes. You will align client stakeholders and a third-party platform vendor on standards, quality measures, and cutover strategy to ensure consistent delivery. Apply now!

Responsibilities

- Define and own the target Camunda 8 solution architecture for in-scope processes aligned to the Logical Data Model and ABAC/PBAC access control model
- Drive and enforce Camunda engineering standards, quality metrics, and best practices across the Development POD
- Execute complexity-tiered migration delivery across low, medium, and high complexity processes
- Plan and validate the parallel-run and cutover strategy per process including routing, shared integration, and decommission triggers
- Align with the third-party vendor responsible for Camunda platform and infrastructure setup to coordinate platform-layer and application-layer design
- Validate integration points with existing REST APIs via the Integration Layer in coordination with the API team
- Own the reference data migration approach for process definitions, DMN tables, forms, business dictionaries, and lookup tables
- Unblock cross-team technical dependencies between the Development POD, Solution Architecture, and the Service Store




- Support UAT technical validation and defect resolution and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to BPM Admins and IT Operations
- Contribute to backlog sizing and complexity assessment using defined criteria

Requirements

- Broad track record delivering enterprise software and platform solutions
- Practical experience with Camunda 8 components including Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist, and Connectors in enterprise settings
- Strong people leadership skills with experience guiding technical delivery and cross-functional teams
- Architecture ownership experience creating target solution architectures for BPM platforms
- Advanced knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN/FEEL, and Camunda Forms
- Working knowledge of Camunda deployment architecture (Orchestration Cluster, HA/Raft consensus, PostgreSQL secondary storage)
- Direct experience integrating OIDC-based identity providers for Camunda (for example Microsoft Entra ID or Okta)
- Proven success migrating legacy BPM platforms to Camunda using strangler or parallel-run cutover patterns
- Positive understanding of REST-based integration architectures and API-first collaboration models
- Strong communication skills to lead technical reviews with client architecture boards
