About Inductech

Inductech is a Chennai-based manufacturer of industrial induction heating and heat-treatment equipment, developing and manufacturing customized systems for applications such as induction heating, hardening, tempering, brazing and forging.

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join our engineering and production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, assemble and troubleshoot electrical control panels for industrial machinery.
- Electrical wiring, panel assembly and machine integration.
- Work with induction heating power supplies, transformers, contactors, relays, sensors and protection circuits.
- Work with VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, temperature controllers and industrial sensors.
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and control schematics.
- Perform PCB testing, wiring and basic electronic troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults during machine assembly and commissioning.
- Assist in machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical/electronic systems before dispatch.
- Interface with mechanical and production teams for machine integration.
- Prepare electrical documentation, wiring diagrams and testing reports.
- Provide technical support during machine commissioning and after-sales service.
- Travel to customer locations when required.

Preferred Technical Skills





- Basic/working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
- Experience with VFDs and industrial motor control.
- Understanding of three-phase electrical systems and control circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels using a multimeter and other test equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, PCBs and control circuits.
- Knowledge of sensors such as RTD, thermocouple, proximity sensors and pyrometers is an advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or electrical drawing software is preferred.
- Exposure to industrial automation and machine commissioning is an advantage.

- Hands-on and technically curious
- Comfortable working on machines and electrical panels
- Good at systematic troubleshooting
- Willing to learn induction heating and power electronics
- Able to work independently as well as with a small engineering team
- Willing to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning
- Valuable at communicating technical issues and solutions

Freshers with strong practical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also apply.
