Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SDET with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, API automation, and LLM/GenAI-based testing. The candidate should be capable of developing scalable automation frameworks and independently owning QA activities end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintainUI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

- Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, negative, boundary, and edge cases

- Create and manage test data for UI and API testing.

- Develop test strategies and detailed test plans for assigned features and releases.

- Design and execute LLM/GenAI testing, including prompt validation, response quality, hallucination, relevance, and RAG-based validation.

- Use GitHub Copilot and Claude for test automation development, test generation, analysis, debugging, and productivity improvement.

- Develop functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.

- Perform API testing using Postman, Playwright API, or similar tools.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Perform SQL/database validation and end-to-end data verification.

- Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers.

- Identify quality risks,



improve test coverage, and drive continuous QA improvements.

- Perform both individual testing tasks and team leadership responsibilities, adapting to the requirements and complexity of each client engagement.

- Lead and mentor testing teams when required, while also contributing hands-on as an individual tester to ensure project deliverables are met.

- Execute both manual and automated testing based on project needs, selecting the appropriate testing approach to ensure quality, coverage, and timely delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field with 7–11 years of relevant SDET/Automation experience.

Mandatory Expectations

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.

- Hands-on experience in LLM/GenAI testing and validation.

- Practical experience using GitHub Copilot and Claude.

- Strong capability in UI/API test case design and test data preparation.

- Ability to independently create test strategies and test plans.

- Strong experience in API automation, CI/CD, SQL, and end-to-end QA ownership.
