Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer / Draughtsman to join our engineering/design team. Freshers with good knowledge of AutoCAD and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and modify mechanical drawings as per design requirements.
- Develop detailed drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and basic mechanical specifications.
- Assist senior engineers/designers in preparing layouts and production drawings.
- Make revisions to drawings based on engineering or production requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to clarify drawing-related requirements.
- Follow company standards and drawing procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings before submission.

Required Skills





- Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and basic drafting standards.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn recent design software and processes.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 3D / SolidWorks / Creo will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining drawings is an added advantage.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience in AutoCAD/design drafting can also apply.
