Key Responsibilities

✅ Inspect incoming raw materials (plastic granules, components, packaging)

✅ Conduct in-process and final inspection for moulded and assembled parts

✅ Monitor injection moulding process parameters and ensure compliance

✅ Handle customer complaints and initiate Root Cause Analysis & CAPA

✅ Prepare quality documents such as PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, Work Instructions

✅ Maintain inspection records, rejection reports, and NCR documentation

✅ Conduct first-off / last-off inspection during tool changes

✅ Ensure calibration and upkeep of measuring instruments (Vernier, gauges, profile projector, etc.)

✅ Support supplier quality evaluation and feedback

✅ Coordinate internal audits and ISO 9001 / IATF compliance activities

✅ Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives in the shop floor





✅ Train operators on defect identification and quality standards

Skills & Competencies

✔ Knowledge of plastic moulding defects (short shot, flash, sink marks, burn marks, warpage, etc.)

✔ Understanding of moulding machines and process settings

✔ Practical experience with measuring tools and gauges

✔ Robust reporting, documentation, and communication skills

✔ Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

✔ Problem-solving using 7QC Tools, Pareto, Fishbone analysis
