About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller to manage and monitor cost control, inventory, purchasing, food costing, stock movement, and operational expenses across our multiple outlets.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in F&B; / Restaurant / Hospitality cost control and the ability to identify cost leakages, wastage, stock variances, and operational inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control Food Cost, Beverage Cost, Labour Cost, and overall operational costs.
- Analyse daily and monthly sales, purchases, consumption, wastage, and stock movements.
- Prepare outlet-wise food cost and cost-control reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular physical stock audits.
- Identify and investigate stock variances, wastage, pilferage, and discrepancies.
- Verify purchase invoices, GRNs, stock transfers, and consumption records.
- Monitor vendor pricing and purchase costs.
- Prepare and maintain Recipe Costing and Menu Costing.
- Analyse theoretical vs. actual food cost and identify deviations.
- Ensure proper portion control and standard recipe adherence.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Kitchen, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Monitor stock receiving, storage, issue, transfer, and consumption procedures.
- Conduct regular outlet and warehouse stock verification.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising product quality.
- Prepare weekly and monthly Cost Control MIS reports for management.
- Report major cost variances, stock discrepancies, and potential leakages to management.
- Develop and implement effective cost-control procedures and internal controls.

Software Knowledge

- Advanced MS Excel – Mandatory
- Knowledge of POS and Inventory Management Software




- Knowledge of ERP / Cost Control Software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to prepare MIS, Costing, Stock, Consumption, and Variance Reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Cost Control, preferably in the F&B; / Restaurant / Hospitality industry.
- Experience handling multiple outlets will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Food Costing, Recipe Costing, Inventory Management, and Stock Reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify cost leakages and financial discrepancies.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and conduct outlet visits when required.

Preferred Candidate

- Experienced hands are strongly preferred.
- Candidates with proven experience as a Cost Controller / F&B; Cost Controller / Inventory Controller will be given priority.
- Experience in multi-outlet restaurants or hospitality businesses is highly preferred.
- Candidates with strong knowledge of food costing, recipe costing, stock audits, inventory control, wastage control, and variance analysis will have an advantage.
- Malayalam-speaking candidates are preferred.
- Candidates who can join at the earliest will be preferred.

Salary

₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and suitability.
