CNC Panel Saw Operator – Job Description

Position: CNC Panel Saw Operator
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Industry: Modular Furniture / Interior
Experience: 0–2 years preferred
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / relevant technical experience

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC Panel Saw for precision cutting of MDF, plywood, HDHMR, particle board and pre-laminated boards.
- Read and understand cutting lists, production drawings and work orders.
- Set cutting dimensions, programs and machine parameters accurately.
- Load and unload panels safely and ensure correct material selection.
- Check panel dimensions and cutting quality using measuring instruments.
- Minimize material wastage through efficient cutting and nesting practices.
- Label and organize cut components for CNC, edge banding and assembly processes.
- Perform basic machine setup, blade/tool changes and adjustments.
- Carry out daily cleaning, lubrication and routine machine checks.
- Identify and report machine faults, cutting errors and material defects.




- Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
- Follow factory safety, PPE and 5S procedures.

These are consistent with current panel-saw roles in furniture/interior manufacturing, which emphasize accurate cutting, drawings/cutting lists, machine setup, quality checks, maintenance and wastage control.

Required Skills

- Experience with CNC Panel Saw / Beam Saw.
- Knowledge of MDF, plywood, HDHMR and other furniture boards.
- Ability to read cutting lists and basic technical drawings.
- Positive measurement and dimensional accuracy.
- Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Knowledge of furniture/interior manufacturing workflow.
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work according to production targets.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per hour
