Job Title : E-commerce Advertising Specialist– Amazon & Flipkart

Key Responsibilities

- Own the overall marketplace advertising strategy and roadmap across Amazon, Flipkart, and other relevant platforms for the Books category.
- Take full ownership of the advertising P&L;, including ad spend, revenue contribution, ACOS, ROAS, TACOS targets, and profitability.
- Set quarterly and annual advertising budgets and allocate spend across platforms, formats, and campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Ads Executives/Specialists; set goals and review performance.
- Drive strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, Flipkart FSP/FSB, Display/Banner Ads, remarketing, deals, and promotions.
- Build advertising strategies aligned with business goals, including new title launches, seasonal/festive spikes, exam season, and backlist revival.
- Collaborate with Category Management, Catalog/Listing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align advertising with inventory and business priorities.
- Present advertising performance,



strategy, and business impact to leadership/founders.
- Manage relationships with Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads teams, external agencies, and technology partners.
- Establish reporting frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, conduct competitive benchmarking, and identify growth opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience in e-commerce/marketplace advertising, with experience managing large ad budgets (₹1 Cr+ annual spend or equivalent).
- Deep hands-on expertise across Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, DSP) and Flipkart Ads (FSP, FSB, Display, remarketing).
- Strong P&L; ownership experience with accountability for revenue, ad spend efficiency, and profitability.
- Solid understanding of ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, CTR, CPC, Conversion Rate, and Contribution Margin.
